Giving an item that is received 'with music' will have a value between 300 points and 800 points, depending on the degree of preference the Sprite Team has for the item. As with any Character, simply speaking to the Sprite on a daily basis will increase Friendship Levels by 100 points. To increase the number of Sprites on any Team, you must raise Friendship Levels. You will need at least 4 Sprites on a Team to be able to order a Medium Effect and 7 Sprites to perform an Enchantment with the maximum 'Large' Effect. With 1-3 Sprites on any Team, only 'Small' Effects can be performed for any type of Enchantment. Each Team has its own spheres of influence and Enchantments that it can perform, but all Enchantments are ordered through Coral of the Red Team. The Harvest Sprites are divided into Teams, but at the start of the game, with the exception of the Red Team, whose members are determined by the Islands you have raised, each Team will consist of a single member. This Guide provides all details about each of the Team Members of every Sprite Team as well as the specific Effects of the Enchantments that these Teams can perform. Despite the difficulty in finding time to visit Harvest Sprite Island to interact with its residents, it definitely IS worth the effort.
Furthermore, the rest period required after performing even a Small Enchantment puts the Sprite out of circulation for at least a week and sometimes ten days, thereby preventing you from raising his/her Friendship Levels further to entice MORE members of the Team to the Island until the Rest Period has ended. When only one Sprite from each of the Teams is on Harvest Sprite Island, his/her usefulness is somewhat limited, especially in the areas of Farming and Ranching. Apart from these activities, one must attempt to 'meet and greet' all Characters regularly and give them preferred Gifts to increase Friendship Levels and ultimately choose a spouse to share your life. The game is very complex and challenging and often it is difficult enough to create a Ranch that provides sufficient income to order necessary upgrades while managing to increase your Fishing, Mining and Cooking Skills. The fact of the matter is that many players underestimate the power and usefulness of the Harvest Sprites in Sunshine Islands. Having played Island of Happiness where there is only one Harvest Sprite in charge of each area on the Map, I was unprepared for the sheer variety and diversitude in the 45 Harvest Sprites on Harvest Sprite Island. When I first began to organise my Guides for Sunshine Islands, it never occurred to me to create a Guide specifically for the Harvest Sprites.
